Usable by everyone.

Everyone should be able to sign up, including with a screen reader, with only a keyboard or with large text.

We build Revena following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2, level AA. Among other things, that means:

  • Everything works with just a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
  • Text meets the contrast the guidelines ask for, on photos and video too.
  • Every field has a label, and an error tells you how to fix it.
  • You can pause the film at the top of the home page. If your device asks for less motion, everything stays still.
  • The map of events has a list as an alternative, with a link to skip the map.
  • Screen readers read counting numbers straight away as their final value.
  • A colour never means something on its own. The scanner also shows a word and an icon.
  • Buttons are big enough for a finger. On the scanner at least 56 pixels.
