The cash desk
- Your volunteer chooses the distance and enters first name, last name, year of birth and category, plus the fields you ask for. No email address needed.
- Payment is in cash or on your own card reader. The cash desk helps with the change.
- Each cash desk gets its own range of race numbers, so two desks never hand out the same number, even without a network.
- A mistake can be undone within two minutes.
- When you close the desk, you see per distance and per payment method what came in.
- A pass holder has their pass scanned and gets their points.
The scanner
- The phone camera reads the QR code on the ticket.
- You see straight away whether a ticket is valid, already scanned or passed on. Each result has a word, a colour, a sound and a vibration.
- No QR code at hand? Search by name or race number.
- A scan can be undone within 10 seconds.
Without a network
The cash desk and the scanner keep everything on the device and send it on as soon as there is a network again. The screen shows how much is still waiting. There are no email addresses, phone numbers or emergency numbers on the device.
Getting ready
- In your dashboard, each edition has a PIN for the cash desk and one for the scanner, with a QR code on the volunteer sheet.
- The PINs work from the day before to the day after your event.
- On the day, you follow live in your dashboard how many people are in, per distance.
- Want to try it first? Open the trial scanner with a test ticket.
What it costs
An entry at the cash desk costs €0.10, excl. VAT. Free tickets and complimentary tickets cost nothing. The scanner is included for every event with entries through Revena. See the pricing.
