Start with last year's participants
Import the export from your previous system: a CSV, an Excel file or a Google Sheet. You see straight away who came back and who did not. Want to know first how many participants come back to your event? Try the free check in your browser. Your file does not go to Revena.
The email plan
For every edition, Revena prepares these emails. You turn them on or off, and adjust the heading and the first paragraph.
- Invitation to your new edition, to those who took part in previous editions.
- The price goes up soon, three days before a price step, to those who took part last year and have not signed up yet.
- Bring someone along, ten days after an entry.
- Volunteers wanted, when you are looking for helpers.
- Practical information, seven days before the event.
- Tomorrow, the day before.
- Your result or thank you, the day after the event.
Your own emails
You send your own email to a group: everyone who signed up, the runners of one distance, those who took part last year and have not signed up yet, or those who still need to complete their details. You first send a test email to yourself.
In your own style, under your event's name
The email goes out with your event's name as the sender, and replies come to you. Your logo, your colours, the date and the start times are already in it. At the bottom, a small line says the entry runs through Revena.
Honest measuring
Revena does not track opens or clicks. You do see how many entries each email brought in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and anyone who uses it gets no more invitations from you.
New participants through the pass
Pass holders earn points at every event through Revena. With a welcome discount of €2, €3 or €5 you attract participants who have never taken part with you. In your figures you see how many new participants the pass brought.
