Your entry fee: price steps, members and service fee.

A price that feels fair to your participants and covers your costs. These are the choices you make.

Start with your costs

Add up what your event costs: permissions, insurance, timing, food stops, medals or a memento, printing and equipment. Divide that by the number of participants you can reasonably expect. That is your floor. Then look at what similar events in your region charge.

Price steps

With price steps, those who sign up early pay less. You set a price per distance, with a date on which it goes up. That way you know sooner how many people are coming, and you have a good reason to send an email. Three days before the last day at a price, Revena automatically emails everyone who took part last year and has not signed up yet.

Member price and children's run

  • A member price is one fixed price per distance for members of your club or federation. The participant enters their membership number when signing up.
  • A children's run is, at Revena, a distance with an age limit. The age is checked against the day of the event.

The price on the day

People who sign up on the day pay the on-the-day price. At Revena it is never lower than the online price on that day, so signing up in advance never costs more.

Service fee: pass it on or not

Revena charges 4% of the ticket price, at least €0.25 and at most €0.79 per ticket, excl. VAT. You choose whether to pass that service fee on to your participants or cover it yourself. The participant always sees one price, all in.

An example: for a ticket of €15, the service fee is €0.73 incl. VAT. If you pass it on, your participant pays €15.73. If you cover it, your participant pays €15 and you pay the service fee.

At the cash desk, an entry costs €0.10, excl. VAT. Free tickets cost nothing. You pay Stripe's or Mollie's payment fees directly to that partner. Work it out for your event.

Extras and the pass

  • A T-shirt or another memento is sold as an extra. Revena charges no service fee on extras.
  • Pass holders get the same discount at every event through Revena: 5% for Bronze up to 20% for Elite, at most €10 per ticket. You give that discount, and in return you get participants who have never been to your event.
  • You can add a welcome discount of €2, €3 or €5 for those who have never taken part with you.
